Residencies available all year round, pending space availability
To qualify for a residency artists or collectives must have a cast that is made up of a majority of artists from under-represented genders (female, non-binary and trans artists encouraged to apply).
There are no artistic criteria for residency applications and residencies are awarded based on space availability.
Applications are open year round with space availability fluctuating throughout the year. We ask all residency applicants to propose how they might be able to contribute to the Vulcana Arts Hub. For example: Teaching workshops, cleaning and maintenance, up skilling our trainers etc
Residency space is most often available during weekday daytime and Friday and Sunday evenings.
