Supporting Students

We believe strongly in removing barriers to participation in the arts. Many of our performance and community programs are delivered to participants free of charge thanks to support from funding bodies, partners and our generous donor community. On this page you can find the ways in which we aim to support students in our Vulcademy classes who are experiencing financial hardship.

See-Saw Program

See-Saw is a program run by Vulcana that provides fully sponsored and part sponsored places in our regular circus classes to children and adults who would not otherwise be able to access circus due to financial barriers.

All of our Vulcana classes build core strength, confidence and coordination. We value the creativity, individuality, and imagination of each person and allow all participants to explore and grow at their own level and pace.

We accept referrals from support organisations, families, and self referrals.

How to apply:

Contact development@vulcana.org.au with a little bit of info about whether you are seeking a fully sponsored (free) place, or a partly sponsored (you pay some of the fee) place and we can provide information on the best classes to suit you and arrange sponsorship and enrolment.
